EXPERIENCE
Microneedling + prp/PRF
Peak Beauty® now offers Microneedling! Are you interested in improving your skin texture and restore a more youthful glow? Microneedling is a skin rejuvenation procedure that helps minimize the signs of aging, improve the appearance of acne (scars) and rejuvenate aging skin. Growth factors and nutrients occur naturally in our blood in the form of PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) and can be used to speed the healing process and increase results after microneedling.
Why microneedling?
Sometimes you have to break it, to make it better. Mirconeedling does just that. When you have a cut, the body begins to generate new collagen and elastin to heal the cut. Microneedling is designed to drive healing elements to the skin’s surface to address ALL skin problems, resulting in a more youthful appearance.

FAQ
+ How does Microneedling work?
The needles on the mirconeedling device leave tiny pokes in your skin at very specific depths which causes your skin to kick into healing mode. Your skin then repairs itself by increasing collagen and elastin to heal these microscopic holes left on the face. Scientific studies have shown us that our skin gradually loses its collagen and elastin, causing the characteristic signs of aging in the face. Therefore, encouraging your skin to produce these materials will cause your skin to gain strength and look younger and healthier.
+ Does Microneedling hurt?
Peak Beauty® works hard to provide quality treatments to patients with minimal discomfort and as little downtime as necessary. To achieve this, we numb the face prior to the procedure so that there is minimal pain with the microneedling.
+ What is PRP?
Platelet Rich Plasma or PRP is a modern-day "fountain of youth," this popular procedure involves using growth factors derived from a patient's own blood. These powerful growth factors are commonly known as “liquid gold” by medical professionals. They have the ability to stimulate collagen, improve skin tone, reduce wrinkles and reverse sun damage when microneedled or injected into the skin.
+ Does Microneedling + PRP work?
Skin that has been studied after microneedling has been shown to have an increase in multiple types of collagen immediately below the outermost layer of skin (just below the epidermis). This increase in collagen makes skin resemble more youthful skin and has been shown to decrease the appearance of acne, fine lines or wrinkles, or pigmented areas.
